Aryaman or Aryamā is one of the Vedic deities mentioned as an aspect of Āditya, the sun. He is the third among the twelve Ādityas. Mythological lore describes him as a son of the sage Kaśyapa and his wife Aditi and as the chief of pitṛs or manes.
